The Respiratory Care Manager is responsible for a work function and staff management within the Respiratory Care Department. Deals with groups and priorities, allocating resources to projects and initiatives. Orients, evaluates, and hires department personnel. Creates and delivers corrective action plans in alignment with the direction of the senior leader.
- Full-time, 80 hours per pay period, Monday – Friday Day shift, benefited
Essential Duties Include:
- Accomplishes Respiratory objectives by managing team members; planning and evaluating department activities.
- Fosters a productive working environment by ensuring employee jobs are properly designed, translating the organization’s strategic goals into departmental and individual goals, and communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Allocates specified work or activities and communicates policies and objectives to team members. Gives work direction, resolves intra- and interdepartmental problems, prepares schedules, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work with appropriate delegation to team members.
- Motivate and inspire Respiratory team members by providing growth and development opportunities and helping Respiratory team members recognize the barriers to growth and development.
- Monitoring, evaluating, and conducting staff performance reviews. Provides effective and immediate coaching to team members on performance issues with constructive feedback.
Educational Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Care required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of related work experience required
- 1 year of leadership experience preferred
- Current licensed Wisconsin RCP
