Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Intern with us, you will work to support the day-to-day functions of a team within Integral Group by working as an integrated member of the design staff, conducing design work as coached and instructed by team members. You will also actively work alongside an assigned mentor to grow in industry specific knowledge and relevant experience while actively applying it to the projects in which they are working.
As a Mechanical Intern, here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
- Conduct design activities with supervision from senior staff
- Work with team members to produce design layouts and complete engineering calculations as required to support activities in the completion of a project
- Ensure Integral design processes and checklists are being followed
- Detailed check of all work prior to returning finished product to other team members
- Maximize positive impact on society through actions, designs and recommendations on each project
- Be knowledgeable of Integral’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) report and initiatives
- Participate in team events, including; team meetings, brainstorming sessions and overall collaboration activities
