Black Velvet Coffee | Espresso Bar in Mammoth Lakes, CA is looking for a Cafe Manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged.

Responsibilities

Daily Duties...

*Nurture memorable moments with every guest while on bar and in the shop *Be passionate daily *Train, coach, and develop the team *Ability to delegate tasks and hold the team to our standards *Make sure the shop is always clean, organized and well stocked at the start and end of shifts *Ensure team provides fast, friendly, quality and accurate service *Ensure proper POS, cash handling and deposit procedures are followed *Be knowledgeable about all things coffee and tea including brew methods *Assist in writing seasonal menus, ordering products and weekly schedules

Skills Learned/Earned in a previous life...

*Hands on experience with working on professional espresso and grinder machines *Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and teammates *Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture *Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused coffee shop *Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organize

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $17.00 - $20.00/hour.
