Project Manager Job Description 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• This position will handle both administrative and hands-on work while managing construction projects
• Assist with the job budget and estimate costs
• Process requested necessary change orders and ensure they are signed and approved by the deadline
• Manage and edit foreman daily reports
• Review and approve job billings/invoices
• Attend pre-con meetings with clients
• Attend punch list meetings and manage list to completion
• Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed per job 
• Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards 
• Resolve problems that may arise on-site and be readily available to assist when needed
• Manage daily and weekly crew schedule
• Keep management aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly 

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 2-5 years of experience in construction project management
• Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
• Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
• A high degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
