We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. Duties
- Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect and deter any suspicious activity.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to protect company assets from theft or damage.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.
- Manage conflicts with professionalism and de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
- Provide first aid assistance as needed and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary, maintaining clear communication regarding incidents or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Ensure all security equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions immediately.
Requirements
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is an advantage.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A militarized background may be beneficial for understanding security protocols.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
