Quality Control Inspector

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Reports To: Director of Quality

Job Description: The purpose of this position is to analyze all materials/products throughout our facility ensuring accuracy and conformity to company documented requirements.

Applicants should have experience in previous inspection activity, corrective action follow-up, first article documentation, and previous training in inspection techniques (including calipers, CMM and micrometers).

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED is required, strong blueprint reading skills, basic inspection skills, ability to pay attention to detail, good shop math and reading comprehension skills, be quality conscious, and a self-starter.

The right candidate will be productive and respected by all levels of co-workers. They must be able to successfully work independently and also as a team member. Must be able to take direction.

A good attendance history (reliability) and a demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and skills are a must.

We can teach the advanced inspection techniques – we are looking for someone with a solid foundation we can build upon.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
