What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bar and Facility Manager position at Blades Golf?
Blades Golf is a brand new indoor golf facility in Germantown WI and Is seeking someone with experience in bartending, serving, and making light food. Being comfortable with social media is also a plus. This position will also be selling drinks nightly from an indoor beverage cart that will be driven around the facility. Being very friendly and outgoing is a must!
Duties
- Lead and manage the food and beverage team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and banquet services to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining cost control measures to optimize profitability.
- Implement training programs for staff on customer service excellence, menu knowledge, and POS systems including Aloha POS.
- Coordinate catering services for events, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly from planning to execution.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menus that reflect seasonal trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Conduct interviews and hire new team members while providing ongoing coaching and performance evaluations.
- Address guest feedback promptly to enhance satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food and beverage management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team management and development.
- Proficiency in using POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is preferred.
- Knowledge of banquet operations, catering services, and kitchen management.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
