TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL NEED THE FOLLOWING:
- Comfort and proficiency in working with fencing and gates.
- Experience in building maintenance for an apartment complex or hotel is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, fencing, painting, drywall, and carpentry
- Handyman experience
- HVAC knowledge is a plus, but not required
Your Day:
Your main responsibilities will include conducting monthly fence and gate inspections, repairing any fencing and gates that require attention, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure their long-term durability. You'll also be involved in simple plumbing and electrical repairs, HVAC maintenance, and general building maintenance tasks such as painting and sheetrock patchwork. Your work maintaining our facility in an attractive and presentable manner is so important and creates a welcoming environment for our pet guests. Note: this position is in a dog environment.
WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION:
This is a part-time position. While our ideal schedule is Monday - Thursday (during peak season) and occasional weekend/after hours if requested by management for emergency situations only, we're open to considering a flexible schedule for the right candidate. Our pet resort is nestled in the beautiful location of Fayetteville, NC.
