Salary Range: $18/hr - $22/hr

JOB OVERVIEW

This position will join a locally-owned company born out of a passion for thoughtfully and excellently produced food and beer, social and environmental sustainability, strong local partnerships, and generously giving back to our community. The right candidate will align with the mission of Block 15 Brewing Company, which is to elevate excellence in the craft beer experience, measured by endless passion, curiosity, and drive for accessible brilliance.

First established in 2008 as a community-oriented brewpub, Block 15 has grown to include three locations: a restaurant and pub brewery, a production brewery and tap room, a fine dining restaurant and a distribution team.

Block 15 Distribution's busy team is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Delivery Driver. This is a 35-45 hr/wk position. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery and providing exceptional customer service to our account base. Some weekends, holidays and overnight trips are required.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ability to read and efficiently work from Route Manifest
• Deliver products to customers using truck, pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Safely and efficiently deliver products to various customers throughout Oregon and Washington in company vans or trucks
• Accurately record invoices, credits and other information on the Route Manifest
• Assist customers during delivery as needed with a positive upbeat manner
• Follow check-in procedures and accurate payment of invoices
• Transport items from receiving or production to staging or other designated areas

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Positive attitude and teamwork mentality
• Ability to apply for and receive a DOT Medical Certificate
• Good driving record and current and valid Oregon driver’s license

Desired Qualifications

• Stellar customer service experience
• Commercial driving experience
• High School diploma or GED equivalent

Physical Demands - The employee must frequently lift and/or move up 140 lbs pounds or more by hand, as well as move heavier amounts using available equipment such as a forklift, pallet jack, electric pallet jack or hand truck.
