We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. Duties
- Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using effective project scheduling tools.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contract documents to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Manage project resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure safety compliance.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare progress reports for stakeholders detailing project status, timelines, and any potential risks or delays.
- Implement time management strategies to optimize workflow and productivity on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or project management within the commercial and residential construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- 3 to 5 years experience in all aspects of Project Managing, Planning and Construction procedures.
- Knowledge in estimating software such as Xactimate is preferred.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills along with the ability to interpret schematics accurately.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail in all aspects of project coordination.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
