Floating Leader

A DAY IN THE LIFE 

Floating Leaders will work between locations and pick up shifts as needed. A Floating Leader is responsible for directing an efficient workflow and assisting the stores in a variety of store operations duties. This position will serve as a role model for all barista responsibilities and will also serve as the team leader in each store. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone seeking training in management experience. You will also be working with Store Managers and Regional Managers to ensure that baristas are properly trained.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned 

• Greet customers, take orders, prepare and serve beverages, as well as various sweet offerings, in accordance with established service standards (i.e. coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas, pastries) 

• Clean, sanitize and maintain the store 

• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed 

• Stock and replenish food, beverages, and utensils as needed 

• Efficiently serve customers by being knowledgeable of offerings 

• Stay up-to-date with personalized online training 

• Communicate with Baristas, Store Manager and Regional Manager

• Additional duties as assigned 

• Travel between stores Austin MN, Clear Lake IA, Mason City IA, & Charles City IA
