Armed Security Officer - Rosenberg, TX 77471

Blue Chip Services, LLC is currently seeking experienced and reliable Armed Security Officer to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will undertake the surveillance of our premises and the protection of our clients, staff and visitors. In addition, you will be responsible for detecting any suspicious happenings and preventing vandalism, thefts or any other criminal behavior.

The current shift is Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Meeting the physical requirements of the job and the ability to work in the environmental conditions listed below to perform common security functions and duties.
• Conduct foot patrols of the facility and parking lots every hour, checking for any signs of unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism.
• The protection of individuals or property, including but not limited to proprietary information, from harm or misappropriation.
• Neutralize situations calmly with tact and common sense.
• Provide any needed assistance to employees/clients, visitors, or the public.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in written form; Required documentation by writing reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Management Team or Client Contract Manager.

Requirements:

• Meet and maintain the certification and/or licensure requirements for a private security officer in the State of Texas, as determined by the State of Texas Department of Public Safety.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to handle and operate firearms safely and proficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• No disqualifying criminal background or convictions, as determined by Texas DPS
• Must demonstrate good moral fitness and ethical standards

Job Type: Full-time
