What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi?
Job Summary –
This position is responsible to perform various janitorial services in all BCBSMS buildings including the Executive building. Various cleaning activities such as vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, offices and conference rooms are included.
Job-Specific Requirements
· Must have at least two years janitorial experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
· Must have a valid Mississippi driver’s license.
· Organized and able to handle a variety of duties.
· Able to work with minimal supervision.
· Maintain strict confidentiality.
· Must be able to follow instruction.
· Able to climb stairs.
· Able to lift and carry 25 lbs.
· Able to use a carpet cleaner.
