E&E Industries is a Veteran owned business that has been servicing the California area for nearly 40 years. We are looking for high-integrity, detail-oriented, high-energy, self-motivated, honest, and hardworking individuals in San Diego and surrounding County.
The Forklift Mechanic will work out of a clean service van provided by E&E or In-House. The Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, performing repairs, preventive maintenance, or major overhauls on material handling equipment, i.e. forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks. This position reports to the Service Manager.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Experience: 2 years of experience required as a Mechanic
- ASE Auto Mechanic Certification (Desirable)
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- License/Certification: Valid state driver's license. Valid Class B license (Desirable)
- Veterans: Military experienced candidates are highly encouraged to apply
- Be able to pass a Federal background investigation
Mechanical Skills:
- Have the ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions or faults to determine required repairs, using diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices.
- Have the ability to read and understand operating manuals, troubleshooting guides and wiring schematics
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles
- Repair, rewire, and troubleshoot equipment electrical systems
- Repair and replace damaged or worn parts
- Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications
- Have the ability to carry heavy objects, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl to be able to move certain materials that cannot be moved with power equipment.
