What are the responsibilities and job description for the Amazon Brand Manager- Kids Apparel position at Blue Ocean Brands LLC?
Blue Ocean Brands is growing fast — and we’re looking for a Brand Manager to lead our Kids Apparel category.
This is a full-time, in-office role for someone with deep experience in children’s clothing — whether you're a former retail buyer or have worked closely in kids fashion from the brand or licensing side. While Amazon experience is helpful, it’s not required. We care more about product instincts, vendor relationships, and a strong merchandising eye.
What you’ll do:
- Own the category from strategy to execution
- Manage vendor relationships & sourcing
- Build seasonal assortments based on data trend
- Work cross-functionally with our Amazon, creative, and ops teams
- Monitor pricing, margin, inventory & growth levers
You should have:
- 3 years in kids apparel (buyer, category manager, etc.)
- Strong sense of product, market, and retail dynamics
- Experience with seasonal planning and vendor negotiations
- High attention to detail and love for building something great
- Willingness to work on-site in NJ
