What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduler position at Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare?
The Centralized Schedulers provide excellent internal and external customer service while scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling a high volume of client appointments for multiple agency locations. The Centralized Schedulers respond to requests for behavioral health appointments in person or by phone, email, or electronic messaging.
The schedule for this position is 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with one hour lunch, Monday - Friday.
What we are looking for: The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have strong customer service skills and will enjoy assisting individuals who may have mental illness or developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will be flexible, a strong multi-tasker, and work well under pressure.
Entry Level Pay: $16.71/hour. Additional compensation commensurate with experience.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: One year customer service experience working with diverse client populations preferred. Two years' experience preferred working in a healthcare setting with scheduling functions, and an understanding of HIPAA (client confidentiality).
- Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
