Rental Equipment Sales / Project Manager
We are currently seeking to hire a Project Manager to join our team in Knoxville, TN. You will be responsible for overseeing and developing sales in your territory. We are a specialized rental company who rents Tanks, Pumps, Boxes, Generators, Water Treatment Equipment and Trench Shoring Equipment. We provide rental equipment to the Environmental, Construction, Bourbon Distilling, Power Plant, Municipal, and Industrial Manufacturing industries. We provide applications engineering of our products to provide customers the best solutions. This position is sales and project management. You will develop your customers and manage the projects that you generate. You will spend about half your time managing your projects and half your time developing new projects.
Responsibilities:
- Be accessible for customers to contact
- Build and form new partnerships with customers
- Oversee and manage your current projects
- Be able to walk a job and recommend a rental solution for the project.
- Be able to cold call on a jobsite or workplace.
- Setup and run booths at industry trade shows and events.
- Develop proposals and solutions for customers
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Google Earth, Adobe PDF and other software proficiently.
- Be able to learn pump curves and calculating total dynamic head in excel
- Able to read jobsite plans to determine equipment needs
- Ensure service and support of projects and equipment
- Work with onsite personnel to complete projects
- Maintain contacts, leads, accounts, and proposals in Hubspot.
- Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement
- Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting
- Report on individual performance
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related fields
- Previous experience in equipment, construction or environmental industries preferred
- Experience as a supervisor or manager
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to build good rapport with clients
