Job Summary:

We are seeking TWO(2) reliable and diligent Custodians to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness will contribute to providing a safe and pleasant environment for our employees and visitors. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

This is a Full Time, benefits eligible position.  $20.00/hr.

We have two different set of over night shifts and we will need to fill one of each. 

7pm to 3:30am Saturday and Sunday, 9:30pm to 5:30am Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Tuesday and Wednesday are days off .

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming, to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors, and restock supplies as needed.
• Empty trash cans and recycling bins to regularly ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in common areas, such as hallways, stairwells, and break rooms.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure environment for all occupants.
• Assist with setting up rooms for meetings, conferences, and events, including arranging furniture and equipment.
• Respond to immediate cleaning needs or spills promptly to prevent accidents and maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Collaborate with other staff members and maintain effective communication to ensure a coordinated approach to facility maintenance.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass a background check and a drug screen
