Dance Instructor

Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Dance Instructor to join our team. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of dance styles to children of all ages and adults and all skill levels in a fun and engaging manner.

Starting pay: $18/hr to $20/hr. based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Plan and lead dance classes for of all ages (3-18 as well as adults) and skill levels

Teach proper technique and form for a variety of dance styles including Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, Tap, Jazz and/or Hip Hop as well as Acrobatics.

Teach age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate fun and engaging activities to keep children motivated and interested

Assess each child's skill level and adjust teaching style and difficulty level as needed

Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all children

Provide individualized feedback and support to children to help them improve their dance skills

Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other instructors

Qualifications

Requirements:

Background/experience in all levels of Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, Tap, Jazz and/or Hip Hop as well as Acrobatics. Knowledge of proper dance technique and safety guidelines

18 years of age and older

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor

Ability to work with children of all ages and skill levels

Ability to create and modify lesson plans to meet the needs of each child

Passion for teaching dance and inspiring children to learn and grow

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Must pass background check
