What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Technician position at Bluebonnet Pet Ranch?
We are adding on to our currently awesome team!
We are looking for caring, detail-oriented people that love people as much as animals. This position is working with dogs in play groups, feeding and medicating dogs and cleaning the facility. Dog bathing is part of the position as well. You need to be comfortable with dogs of all sizes. The perfect candidate can work well alone and stay on task but can also work well with a team.
Experience not necessary, we can train the right person. We are looking for genuinely nice people that we want to spend our days with....the rest can be taught. You need to be able to think quick on your toes and if you are a person that gets stressed out or overwhelmed easily, being in a dog kennel may not be the best fit.
The shifts are 6:30am-1pm and/or 2-8pm. We have 5 shifts available, some mornings and some evenings. You need to be available weekends and holidays to be considered for the position. We are looking for someone with open availability.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
