Are you an experienced emergency veterinarian ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? BluePearl Pet Hospital in Midvale, UT, located in the stunning Salt Lake City metro area, is seeking a full-time ER Service Head to work side-by-side with our skilled ER clinicians, specialists, and leadership team.

We’re looking for a veterinarian with at least three years of ER experience (internship training preferred), and ideally some prior leadership experience, who is excited to help guide, mentor, and grow a collaborative and high-performing team..

🩺 ER Service Head Responsibilities

As ER Service Head, you’ll lead with influence, not just authority:

• Manage ER clinician scheduling and PTO
• Facilitate team meetings and mentor new ER/ICU support staff
• Oversee ER case management and collaborate with specialists for seamless patient care
• Partner with hospital leadership to improve protocols, service levels, and patient safety
• Help recruit, onboard, and retain exceptional ER clinicians
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture and client satisfaction
• Assist in equipment needs and capital purchases for the ER/ICU
