BluePearl Pet Hospital in Golden Valley, MN seeks a knowledgeable and skilled Veterinary Assistant or Technician to join our fast-paced Radiology departments.

Must have veterinary experience.
Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 / hour
This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on Veterinary Assistant experience and advancement through CareerTrax leveling system.
** Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience**
We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.
- Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.
For example:
Mon – Thurs: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential
Fri & Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential
Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential
As a Radiology Assistant you will perform or assist with advance diagnostic testing, such as x-rays, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
As a Radiology Assistant, you will:
You prepare patients for ultrasound.
Your safely restrain patients for procedures.
You place intravenous catheters in all peripheral veins.
You prepare slides for cytology.
You proficiently perform digital radiographs.
You assist with monitoring patients during anesthesia or while sedated.
You assist with performing advanced imaging such as CT scans and MRI procedures.
You have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
You have patience and empathy to address client concerns.
