We are expanding our capabilities in data analytics and seeking a Senior Data Scientist with extensive experience building data models and supporting data-driven decision making within a federal government environment.

Job Description

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to improve our customer's operations, enhance public services, and inform policy decisions. You will lead data science projects, develop and implement advanced analytics solutions, and collaborate with subject matter experts to extract valuable insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute data science projects, from problem formulation to solution deployment.
• Develop and implement predictive, prescriptive, descriptive, and diagnostic analytics models.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data science trends and technologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in data science and analytics, with a significant focus on the federal government sector.
• Strong proficiency in data science tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing solutions.
• Proven track record of leading data science projects and delivering impactful results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
