BMW of Bridgeport has an opening for full-time service coordinator. Seeking an enthusiastic self-starter with an upbeat personality who is detail-oriented with a professional appearance and excellent phone etiquette.
Must have exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal communication, customer service and multi-tasking skills. Play a key role in maintaining the stores’ reputation and image while showing a strong desire to serve our client’s needs. Ideal candidates will have the ability to be flexible in a team-oriented work environment, are driven to succeed, learn and grow within the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and inquiries for multiple departments and direct calls to appropriate personnel
- Assist customers in any aspect of conversation in a pleasant, helpful and professional manner while delivering a premium customer service experience
- Assist in scheduling and confirming appointments
- Make outbound courtesy and follow-up calls
- Manages all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, reports, etc.) when needed
- Perform basic administrative and other duties as assigned
- Provide support to service / sales / parts staff and managers as needed
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
- Be dependable and punctual
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- One year previous call center or phone experience is preferred
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Must be at least 18-years-old
- Pass a 7 year criminal background check and drug screen
- Bi-Lingual not required, but preferred
- Must be able to work 1-2 Saturdays per month
