What You Will Do:

Distribute parts/supplies at counter and post parts to work orders in dealership systems

Assist in shipping and receiving by unpacking/packing boxes; stock parts on shelves

Unload trucks and signs for shipments; inspects for damage and returns if necessary

Conduct physical counts of parts/supplies for cycle inventory

Advise Manager Parts of stock outs and low stock problems based on inventory system data or visual inspection

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Place daily parts orders

Assist parts manager in processing weekly stock orders; stock and post incoming orders

Notify appropriate parties when special order parts arrive

Serve as back-up for parts manager for inventory functions

Maintain up-to-date parts price list; update electronic parts files

Compile stock control reports such as consumption rate and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment

Provide necessary information to the warranty department to allow prompt filing of parts warranties

Continuously develop your product knowledge to become fluent on all things BMW. Know the ins and the outs of product offerings and the latest technologies

Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Generally, work is performed Monday through Saturday with Sundays and one other day off during the week. You will be required to work some Saturdays and some late nights.
