We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Wyoming, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of equipment, implementing preventive maintenance plans, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines, conveyor systems, and servo motors.
  • Create and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Utilize PLC troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair programmable logic controllers.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on various equipment.
  • Work with variable frequency drives (VFD) to optimize equipment performance.
  • Conduct soldering tasks as needed for repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
  • Strong OEM knowledge and experience with equipment troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and programming.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with hydraulics and machine safety inspections.
  • Experience with variable frequency drives (VFD) and servo motors.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
  • Relevant certifications or training in maintenance or related fields is a plus.
