What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSISTANT TO THE BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR/BOARD SECRETARY position at Board of Education?
Reports to: Assistant Superintendent/Board Secretary
Qualifications:
Preferred but negotiable six (6) years of accounting experience, including at least two (2) years in a school system. OR Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minimum of four (4) years of experience, including at least two (2) years in a school system.
The Assistant to the Business Administrator/Board Secretary shall assist the Assistant Superintendent for Business/Board Secretary in the business operations as they relate to all aspects of accounting, monthly financial reports, and investments, and shall be efficient, honest, and cooperative with all district staff in the performance of these duties.
**School Business Administrator (BA) certification, or progress toward certification, is welcomed but not required.
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
Terms of Employment: 12 Months
