This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the Harvest Floor Area and processes.
- Manages and leads harvest floor employees.
- Monitors and makes sure the company is in compliance with all animal welfare procedures and processes.
- Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include staffing and training of harvest employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints andresolving problems
- Ability to teach and coach employees on proper butcher techniques.
- Perform three or more minor butcher positions and three or more major butcher positions.
- Function with minimal assistance and supervision.
- Verifies HACCP and humane slaughter reports.
- Maintains cleanliness and quality of the product and department.
- Keeps records of department activities and production.
- All other duties as assigned.
- 5 years manufacturing supervision experience
