JOB SUMMARY
Detail oriented and calm under pressure, our Alarm Monitors use a multi-screen computer, phone, and multiple radios to receive and support incoming requests for assistance. Efficient and accurate collection and processing of key information is critical so the correct personnel and equipment are dispatched to the scene of an emergency. Provides National Crime Information Center (NCIC) queries, provides intrusion detection and fire/smoke alarm monitoring services.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Two or more years’ experience in a related position.
Ability to possess or obtain applicable security clearance.
Ability to work shifts of lengthy durations, overnight, or on weekends
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to type a minimum of 60 wpm.
Ability to use advanced features of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to quickly and accurately transition from one software program to another or otherwise multitask between computer, phone, and radio equipment (ex.: interact with a caller on the phone while listening to and/or issuing radio reports and providing directions from a map on a computer)
Ability to clearly speak, read, and understand English.

Prefer NCIC Certified.
