Position Overview
The ideal candidate for Internal Service Advisor communicates with and schedules needed service work for all our pre-owned vehicles.
Who would I interact with?
This position interacts daily with Sales Managers, Parts Advisors, Technicians, and Outside Vendors, just to name a few.
What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
- Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
- Establishes "promised time." Checks with dispatcher, if necessary.
- Obtains Sales Manager's signature on repair order.
- Checks on progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts Sales Managers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
- Explains completed work and all charges to Sales Mangers.
- Give other team members a helping hand with their duties, as needed.
What are the requirements for this job?
- Detail oriented and excels in a fast-paced, results driven environment.
- Professional and friendly phone skills with a passion for customer service.
- Strong computer skills, to include Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, secondary schooling preferred.
- Reynolds and Reynolds is a plus.
