Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Your friendly demeanor and attention to detail will ensure that each customer receives exceptional service in a welcoming environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, following recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders.
- Operate Mochi Dougnuts frier, mixing the dough of the doughnuts and glazing the doughnuts with their codings and flavors.
- Assist customers in selecting beverages by providing information on menu items.
- Handle the POS system and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the preparation area.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and interacting with customers in a friendly manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the food industry.
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and order processing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
