Boca Recovery Center is seeking a full-time Clinical Director in a detox and residential substance use disorder facility.
Job description:
Oversees the clinical operations of the facility, which includes: patient care and clinical management, in accordance with the clinical policies and procedures,
Duties and Responsibilities: to include but not limited to the following:
- Oversees clinical department, including client admissions assessments and treatment plans.
- On call 24/7 for clinical emergencies and consultations.
- Oversee the timely completion of all required clinical documentation.
- Creates and provides group therapy schedule and covers case load when necessary.
- Provides psychological services as needed and is responsible for the provision of appropriate services for clients with co-occurring disorders.
- Provides clinical and administrative supervision
- Facilitates daily staffing, weekly treatment planning meeting, clinical supervision meeting.
- Reviews client records for quality of treatment documentation and planning.
- Reviews shift logs with DON and housing for behavioral and treatment implications.
- Coordinates with Facility COO and other team members to monitor and ensure compliance with State licensing and regulatory standards.
- Provides and facilitates quality assessment and improvement training, and staff development for direct reports.
- In partnership with the COO, develops, coordinates, and maintains clinical program policies and procedures, and modifies as necessary overall program parameters.
- Informs Facility COO of issues relating to staff issues.
- Responsible and accountable for managing direct reports.
- Preparation and presentation of performance evaluations
- Participates in quality assurance and utilization review activities as directed by the Facility COO.
- Hold staff accountable for completing required training .
- Responsible for recommending and ensuring regulatory staffing patterns & managing annual budget.
- Monitors adherence to company and department policies, procedures and practices.
- Creates and supports a positive, professional, team-oriented, harassment free work environment by understanding and complying with the company’s policies.
- Participates in quality assurance and utilization review activities as directed by the Facility COO.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences required (social work, counseling or psychology).
- Unrestricted license to practice in the State of New Jersey (Licensed Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, or LCADC).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in addiction services.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
- Experience working with substance abuse, addictions, mental health, cognitive behavior treatment and motivational interviewing.
- Knowledge of utilizing electronic medical record software and documentation.
- Knowledge of ASAM criteria.
- Counseling experience with adults, an understanding of psychotropic medications and symptoms and effects.
- Ability to read, write and interpret written information, type documentation, present information to groups and participates in meetings.
Certificates and Licenses:
Unrestricted license to practice in the State of employment.
