Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in the recovery and rehabilitation of our patients. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance the overall quality of life. Your expertise will contribute to a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical abilities and needs.
- Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Implement therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on exercise programs, injury prevention, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
- Maintain accurate records of treatment and progress according to facility standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program or equivalent experrience.
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physical Therapist in Indiana.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for helping patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems and record requirements.
