What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test & Trials Lead A position at Bollinger Shipyards?
GENERAL FUNCTION: Assists with the coordination and implementation of all OEM and Bollinger Preventative Maintenance Procedures, up to and including sea trials, in compliance with requirements. Reports directly to the Preventative Maintenance Foreman or department Manager.

Considerable knowledge of shipbuilding processes and industry standards and regulations. Good knowledge of testing equipment and measuring devices and the ability to instruct inspectors on their proper operation. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications and develop sound, thorough inspection programs. Ability to interface effectively with customers, management, and employees in all areas within the division.
Desirable Education, Experience & Training
Must posses strong electro/mechanical aptitude. Extensive experience in operation of ships systems and preventative maintenance or any equivalent combination of experience and training which results in the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Formal electrical training; i.e. 4 year electrical apprenticeship program, vocational certification, a trade school for electrical commercial/industrial wiring or equivalent. Considerable knowledge of shipbuilding processes and industry standards and regulations. Ability to effectively supervise and to interface with customers, management, and employees in all areas within the division.
