Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
Promote and sell the company’s range of beer products to retailers, bars, restaurants, and other outlets.
Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential customers.
Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers by providing exceptional service and product knowledge.
Customer Service:
Act as the primary point of contact for customers within the assigned territory.
Provide customers with information on new products, promotions, and pricing.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Product Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and competitor offerings.
Educate customers on the features and benefits of the company’s beer products.
Conduct tastings, product demonstrations, and presentations to customers.
Sales Targets and Reporting:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by the Sales Manager.
Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and territory analysis to management.
Track sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Merchandising:
Ensure that products are well-displayed and merchandised in stores.
Work with store staff to optimize shelf placement and visibility of products.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with customers for timely reorders.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the beverage or alcohol industry.
Strong knowledge and passion for craft beer and the brewing industry.
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry cases of beer (up to 50 lbs).
Willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
