At Boone County Family Resources, we pride ourselves on fostering a friendly and vibrant work environment. We are currently looking for a reliable, punctual, and organized individual to fill the role of Full-Time Administrative Assistant. In this position, your punctuality will be key to ensuring the smooth operation of our busy office.
As our Administrative Assistant, you will be at the heart of our office operations. Your role will involve performing essential clerical and receptionist duties while ensuring that every task is handled with efficiency and professionalism. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for organization, exceptional communication skills, and a drive to excel in a fast-paced setting.
Position Information:
Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk, welcoming visitors and handling phone calls with a professional and friendly attitude.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area.
Manage office correspondence, including incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Perform various administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and filing.
Provide support to other departments and assist with special projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Have a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
Be proficient in computer use including scanners, word processing, data entry, and email.
Have at least one year of related experience.
Have excellent punctuality and reliability in maintaining regular front desk hours.
Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Have excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Have the ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
Be friendly and professional with a customer service-oriented mindset.
Have access to an insured and properly maintained vehicle for your travel. Operate that vehicle and agency vehicles in a safe and prudent manner and comply with all applicable laws.
