Status: Full Time - 40 hours per week
Shift: Days
Shift Time Schedule: 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with availability to be on-call after hours
Days: Monday - Friday
Looking for a full-time Respiratory Therapist for day shift. Availability to be on-call during after hours. The option of working in Pulmonary Rehab will be available also. We are willing to train specific skills.
Education/Qualifications Required: Associate's Degree or equivalent from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Must possess National Certification or Registry credential. State of Iowa license required.
Experience Required: 6 months clinical experience preferred. Willing to train.
Position Summary: Administers respiratory therapy and cardiology diagnostic and therapeutic tests and treatments to patients, under the supervision and direction of the physician.
Duties Expected: Respiratory care including aerosol therapy, pulmonary function testing, airway management (vent & PAP), ABG draw, cardiology including EKG, stress testing, home sleep instruction, and holter monitoring.
