Scrum Master

Key Role:

Coach the scaled Agile development team on scrum and scale agile framework (SAFe) principles, help the team focus on goals and objectives and to achieve their highest performance level, to ensure the scrum project is successfully progressed. Apply specific functional knowledge, working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, may review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience with facilitating scrum ceremonies, including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

• Knowledge of Agile values, principles, and frameworks, including scrum and kanban

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Bachelor's degree

• ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) or Certified Scrum Master Certification

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with facilitating scaled Agile ceremonies, including scrum of scrum or PI planning

• Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

• Ability to facilitate PI Planning event scrum master responsibilities for a scrum team, including drafting PI objectives and identifying and mitigating risks and dependencies across teams

• SAFe Agilist Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
