We're hiring a Market President at the Greenbush, Minnesota Border Bank!
The Market President reports to the Chief Banking Officer and is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the bank. This includes assuring the bank operates within all policies and procedures adopted by the Board of Directors. The primary responsibility is to promote the bank by servicing and deepening relationships with existing customers and attracting new customers with both loan and deposit products.
The Market President is responsible for developing and servicing loan and deposit volumes for the market in which it operates. This position is also responsible for public relations and generating new business in accordance with the goals and objectives of the bank.
Market President Accountabilities:
- Responsible for generating loans and deposits within guidelines set by bank policy and growth targets.
- Responsible for deepening customer relationships with existing customers and help attract prospects to the bank. This will be accomplished through understanding the full account relationships with customers and making sales calls to those customers to solicit additional product sales.
- Follow up with delinquent loans to maintain the quality of the loan portfolio.
- Must help educate customers on other products and bank services.
- Will work with HR and applicable Department Managers as it pertains to hiring team members for the location, completing annual performance evaluations, and coaching and mentoring team members.
- Maintain a cohesive, motivated team sufficient to meet daily branch demands.
- Coordinate team member training to ensure that all applicable policies and regulations are known and followed.
- Develop and implement the annual budget.
- Monitors branch operating results relative to established objectives and ensures that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.
- Assure that the properties and facilities are kept in accordance with bank standards for appearance, cleanliness, and safety.
- Responsible for overall branch security and will make certain all team members are aware of the disaster recovery process for the branch.
Market President Education and Experience:
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 - 5 years of banking or similar experience.
- 3 - 5 years of Ag and/or Commercial Lending experience.
