Trucking Dispatcher

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation services across our operations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining efficient communication between drivers and costumers. This role is crucial in optimizing logistics operations and enhancing overall fleet performance.

Duties

• Manage daily dispatch operations, including scheduling and routing.
• Negotiate rates and delivery timelines.
• Communicate effectively with drivers to provide updates and instructions.
• Communicate effectively with brokers and costumers.
• Utilize GPS and fleet management systems to monitor vehicle locations and optimize routes.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, including shipping and receiving documentation.
• Address any issues that arise during transportation, including delays or route changes.
• Review logs of truck drivers to ensure compliance with HOS
• Ensure compliance with DOT safety regulations and company policies throughout the dispatch process.

Requirements

• 1 years of current experience as a Dispatcher
• Familiarity with DOT compliance and HOS regulations
• Bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs.
