What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Advisor for International High School Exchange Students position at Borderless Friends Forever?
Borderless Friends Forever is a non-profit organization that places international high school exchange students in several regions of the United States. We are seeking responsible, motivated, and enthusiastic individuals to find host families for students and then supervise and mentor those students throughout their exchange experience.
You will be working part-time as an independent contractor and will be paid based on the number of students that you place and supervise. Placement payments will be made at student arrival and supervision payments are made monthly.
We provide all needed training, as well as ongoing support. This is an opportunity for someone who is excited about diversity and culture and enjoys working with people.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Interest in world cultures and international relations
- Self-motivated and comfortable reaching out to new people
- Responsible and dependable
- Responsive through email and phone/text
- Resourceful and able to problem solve
- Good judgement
- Computer literacy, including the ability to navigate PDFs, social media, online databases, and various smartphone apps.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working with children, teens, and/or families preferred

COVID-19 considerations:
All students are required to be vaccinated and testing/quarantine protocols are in place. Community Advisors are asked to wear masks in host family homes.
