Summary
- The competent Nurse practices independently within a similar clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
- Demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations and makes appropriate assignments or delegations to care team members.
- Meet leadership competencies and deliver nursing care aligned with ANA standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Address patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, providing education and support to patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitor effects, and document care thoroughly.
- Assess learning needs and facilitate patient and caregiver education.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least 1 year of related experience.
- Current BLS certification and RN license in the state of employment or compact license.
- Per diem, as needed, not exceeding 950 characters.
