The North America Financial Planning and Analysis Team (FP&A) focuses on developing content expertise, critical business analytics, strategy development, and financial projections in partnership with senior leaders to drive key business decisions. As a Finance Senior Manager, you’ll work collaboratively across the regional FP&A team and with senior leadership in our North America business. You’ll have frequent interactions with senior stakeholders including North America’s CFO, function heads, Managing Director and Partners, and the Regional Chair who heads BCG’s North America business.
The Analytics team – an arm within the broader FP&A team – sits at the intersection of business strategy and operations enablement within North America. This position will perform several critical responsibilities to support and manage Financial Strategy and Analysis engagements, including:
- Lead the NAMR Client, Investments & Staff Deployment Analytics pillar, including management of a high-caliber team of analysts
- Provide reporting insights into BCG’s resource deployment strategy, client investment decisions and client portfolio quality
- Monitor – and, where appropriate, develop – key metrics of the business and make recommendations to leadership
- Collaborate closely with our System FP&A, Commercial Finance, and Contract-to-Cash finance teams to lead various initiatives or evolve investment processes and our operating model; taking advantage of new technology, reacting to changes within our rapidly evolving business, or promoting best practices across functions
- Partner with internal functions and/or internal consulting teams to provide ad-hoc decision support or to bring thoughtful solutions to data requests
- Design and deliver insightful deployment performance reporting including variance analysis, KPI tracking, and comparative analysis to benchmarks that will drive key business decisions
- Be primary business partner to our Staffing and Client Team function heads
- Be thought partner to Regional leadership including our CFO, Regional Chair, Function Heads and System Leads

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or Math; MBA or Master’s degree a plus
- 9 years of finance-related experience, prior experience in professional services environment a plus
- 2 years of managerial experience preferred
- Polished written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate, iterate and influence
- Ability to synthesize large datasets and develop and/or pressure test comprehensive analysis to inform the business and drive decisions
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint (ability to train staff on intermediate or advanced level)
- Experience with Business Objects, Alteryx, Tableau, and Hyperion Financial Management a plus
