Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to support the Post-Default Collections function across both Risk Management and Operational Execution. This is a hands-on role with direct responsibility for executing daily tasks, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting process improvements in vendor oversight, collections operations, and risk reporting.
The ideal candidate is comfortable switching between analytical work (e.g., audits, reporting, quality checks) and operational execution (e.g., inventory reconciliations, placements, file processing) while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Collections Risk Support
- Assist with vendor onboarding, due diligence, and calibration sessions
- Monitor regulatory compliance and support implementation of internal controls
- Review call recordings, collection letters, and quality assurance metrics
- Conduct gap analyses and help implement remediation plans
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and prepare risk dashboards
- Support internal and external audit activities
Collections Operations
- Execute reporting deliverables, inventory reconciliations, and loan tape distribution
- Manage placement and recall cycles, coordinate vendor system access, and process daily files
- Conduct inventory reviews for bankruptcy, military, and other risk flags
- Maintain operational records and audit trails
- Perform ad hoc data analysis for performance tracking and audit preparation
- Support enhancements to systems, processes, and controls
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in collections, risk management, operations, or vendor oversight
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- Knowledge of post-default recovery processes, compliance requirements, and vendor management best practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel; SQL or database familiarity is a plus
- Strong communication skills for internal and external coordination
- Live within a comfortable commute and willingness to work on-site in Boca Raton, FL
Preferred Experience
- Experience in financial services, debt collections, or credit servicing
- Exposure to legal collections or post-default recovery strategies
- Familiarity with compliance testing, quality assurance, or audit documentation
Compensation
· Position starts at $65k, and is commensurate with experience
