We are looking for a BoH Supervisor for Boston's Restaurant located in Best Western Downtown Casper. We are a 200 guest room property with 39,000 SQ FT of meeting space.
The Back of House Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations within a restaurant's kitchen, ensuring smooth food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, managing kitchen staff, and upholding quality control by supervising all aspects of the back-of-house operations, including inventory management, staff training, and adherence to sanitation guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
- Supervise and train kitchen staff including line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers, and other back-of-house personnel.
- Assign tasks and manage work schedules to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts.
Food Quality and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and standards.
- Monitor food quality and consistency, ensuring adherence to recipes and standards.
- Conduct regular food safety inspections and maintain proper sanitation practices.
Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory levels of food products, including ordering, receiving, and rotation to minimize waste.
- Analyze inventory data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Operational Efficiency:
- Optimize kitchen operations by monitoring production times and adjusting staffing levels as needed.
