Job Title: Medical Lab Technologist - MLS/MLT
Location: Lewistown, MT 59457
Start Date: 08/18/2025
Shift : Variable shifts, primarily night shift - 8 hr shifts
Contract week: 13 weeks
GH: 32 GH hours

Weekly gross: $1920 as per 32 hours.

OT Pay Rate: 1.5 times the taxable amount.

Job Description:

Sub Specialty(s):Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Technologist

EMR Used: Cerner

Under limited supervision, is responsible for performing all activities pertaining to laboratory analysis for the purpose of screening, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.

Performs various duties in the pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of test result generation.

Performs moderately difficult to complex tasks in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and immunohematology.

Performs, in an accurate and timely manner, all procedures relating to ordering, analyzing, and reporting tests per laboratory protocol.

Establishes control protocols appropriate for testing performed; performs all quality control related activities.

Assesses validity and logic of results; recognizes clinical implications of abnormal/critical values; observes critical value implication and verification protocols; follows verification protocols to ensure report accuracy.

Handles all specimens to assure specimen integrity, including collection, identification, processing, storage and disposal.

Variable shifts, primarily night shift

Must have Cerner experience

Blood bank experience required.

Must have Montana license.

Required Documents:

• ASCP or AMT Certifcation
• Active BLS
• Covid Card or Exemption
