We're seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cashier to join our Dairy Queen team. As a Cashier, you'll be the face of our store, providing top-notch service in a high-energy environment that can occasionally get warm due to our busy kitchen and seasonal rushes. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet customers with a warm smile, take orders accurately, and answer questions about menu items, including our Blizzard treats and food options.
Order Processing: Operate the POS system efficiently to process cash and card payments while ensuring order accuracy.
Team Support: Collaborate with crew members to maintain a smooth workflowduring peak hours, assisting with prep, stocking, and cleaning tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn is a must!
Skills: Strong communication, comfortable with cash handling and basic math.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly, and occasionally work in a warm environment during busy shifts.
Availability: Flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays [closed Thanksgiving and Christmas]
Personality: Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for delivering great service, even under pressure.
