Who are we looking for:
We are looking for a softgoods product designer, experience in bags and packs is not required. The ideal candidate is a passionate entry level creative with a degree in Industrial Design, good communication skills, and work ethic. The ability to quickly and concisely create sketches, line art (adobe products), and think creatively is essential.
Your Role:
This Junior Design position will be part of the creative process from market research to final production QC. while working with the marketing and design teams, factory partners, and target users. Under the direction of the design lead, they will be responsible for incorporating user / market insights into concept generation, design spec creation, and concept development / finalization to bring innovative and attractive carry solutions to market tat enhance our customers lives.
Qualifications
- BA in Industrial Design
- 0-4 years relevant work experience
- Portfolio of work showing your creative ability
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma
- Understanding of production processes and their application
- Awareness of fashion and design trends
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet timelines
