What are the responsibilities and job description for the Partnership Development Director position at Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce?
Position Purpose
Under minimal supervision, responsible for recruitment of new partners, retain current partner and sales.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
- Responsible for partnership recruitment, including cold calls, visits, etc. and meeting set goals
- Responsible for lead generation and closing of partnership to attain goals
- Track contacts/activity/follow-up daily in CRM
- Recruit new President’s Club Partners to support economic development efforts.
- Responsible for the sale of non-dues revenue including but not limited to: program sponsorships, magazine ad sales, message board and newsletter ads using a solutions-based approach to meet set goals.
- Responsible for retaining partners to attain goals.
- Attend Chamber functions, such as Business After Hours, Coffee Hour and other events as directed
- Perform other work as assigned.
Qualifications:
Training and Experience:
High school degree required, post-secondary education a plus.
2 years sales experience
2 years sales experience
Special Requirement(s):
Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
