DENTAL ASSISTANT- FULL TIME

Bowman Dental is an established, state-of-the- art, private, general dentistry practice based in Walpole, NH. We are seeking an additional full time Dental Assistant for our patient-focused dental practice. As a dental assistant, you will have all the support you need for the next level of personal and professional growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and arranging dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
- Take and develop dental x-rays, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment charts, medical histories, and consent forms.
- Provide chairside support to dentists, including handing instruments, passing materials, and providing patient comfort.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, proper dental care, and post-operative instructions.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment.
- Assist with managing patient flow, and maintaining inventory of dental supplies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- X-ray certification preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and multitask efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
